The Education element is focused on actively engaging people of all ages, cultures, and affluence to learn about the waterways’ health, history, and value in their neighborhoods.

Empower individuals to make a difference in their community by educating them about the watershed, its history, and its value to their neighborhoods.

Measuring Success

 

Metric Incorporate educational installations, programming, events, and/or campaigns, around the waterways and destination locations that promote stewardship, the value, importance and/or history of the waterway.
Goal
  • Incorporate educational elements into all ROW projects and installations that promote stewardship, the value, importance and/or history of the waterway.
  • 5% Increase in occurrence of educational programming, events and campaigns about the waterways annually for the overall ROW Focus Areas.
Outcome Aware and engaged residents that acts as community and/or environmental stewards.
