This month, ROW recognizes Robert Evans for his energizing and collaborative contribution as part of the ROW Steering Committee since 2017. Evans is the Executive Vice President of Homeownership Initiatives for Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership (INHP), a community investment organization providing affordable homeownership opportunities to Indianapolis residents, including many in waterway neighborhoods.
INHP has supported ROW in providing access to meaningful community amenities that impact people and their neighborhoods. “My involvement has exposed me to so many incredible Indianapolis neighborhood leaders who are making a difference for our city,” says Evans.
Most recently, Evans’ desire for materials to provide clients in INHP’s homeownership classes inspired the creation of All Things Water: What a Homeowner Should Know. “The most rewarding part of my involvement has been watching the ROW partner organizations mobilize to create a new homeowner guide that showcases important facts about our waterways and the ways homeowners can conserve water,” says Evans. “The homeowner guide is a tangible representation of each ROW member organization’s commitment to creatively leveraging their resources to reach current and new audiences.”
Thank you Robert Evans for helping catalyze collective impact and for your service on our Steering Committee!
The All Things Water: What a Homeowner Should Know guide is the result of collective input from Indiana Wildlife Federation, Citizens Energy Group, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Friends of the White River, City of Indianapolis, and Health by Design and funded by the Herbert Simon Family Foundation.
