This month, ROW expresses gratitude to Naomi D’Andrea and her family and friends for their indispensable volunteer help in preparing Municipal Gardens for helping with setup, during the event, and cleanup of the ROWPort event
D’Andrea and her teenage crew of volunteers helped roll out the massive watershed map (which was no small undertaking), and set up tables, chairs, and tents, among other important tasks undertaken the day before and day of the event.
As a Municipal Gardens Site Steward, D’Andrea has committed to identifying maintenance needs, new invasive species threats, illegal dumping, and erosion issues to help City staff maintain the space. Thank you Naomi D’Andrea for your support at ROWPort 2019 and your commitment to natural spaces along an Indianapolis waterway!
