This month, ROW thanks Debbie Overshiner for her commitment to the Little Eagle Creek Committee, helping to provide space for gathering and helping to organize in waterway events such as cleanups and the upcoming Creek Week.
As a long-time Northwest area neighbor, Overshiner takes pride in her community and sees the potential that engagement with the waterway can bring.
“Before I learned about the ROW committee, I didn’t really think much about the waterways in the area,” said Overshiner. “It’s really great to see all the possibilities for improvement around Little Eagle Creek and Falcon Creek and to be able to work together.”
Overshiner is a Librarian at the Eagle Branch Library and brings this community asset into waterway efforts along Little Eagle Creek and Falcon Creek.
