Fall Creek Waterway Committee led by Marion County Soil and Water Conservation District (MCSWCD) is working toward significant water quality improvement efforts by updating the Lower Fall Creek Watershed Management Plan.
This plan, last updated in 2009, will provide key insights into the state of the Fall Creek watershed as well as collect community and stakeholder input on challenges and opportunities. Completion of the plan will mean MCSWCD and partners will be eligible for federal Clean Water Act funding to implement priority projects.
In addition to Fall Creek resident engagement, supporters like Ivy Tech, Indiana State Fair, Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and Axia joined ROW in providing both input and financial support.
