Check out our latest video about plans along Pogue’s Run on the Near Eastside of Indianapolis. In March, Pogue’s Run waterway received $72,260 for “Pogue’s Run Rest Stops: A Reason to Pause” through funding from The Kresge Foundation and Central Indiana Community Foundation. In addition, the City of Indianapolis is leveraging $500,000 through the Department of Metropolitan Development and HUD Community Development Block Grants for a section of Pogue’s Run Trail.
Part of the project are a series of community picnics, the first in coordination with the Turn Festival on September 12.
