This March, ROW is grateful to our partner The Nature Conservancy of Indiana (TNC). Internationally, The Nature Conservancy is an organization that works to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends. Locally, TNC has been protecting great places in the Hoosier state for over 55 years, like Beanblossom Bottoms and Anderson Falls in Southern Indiana and Kankakee Sands in Northwestern Indiana.

ROW and TNC work together in Indianapolis restoring habitats and educating neighbors about protecting their local environment. TNC recently partnered with ROW on our Waterway Trivia Night, combining their ecological expertise with ROW’s local neighborhood knowledge, for a fun and educational evening. Even some of our most seasoned ROW participants learned something new!

Take TNC’s White River Quiz to see how much you know about Indy’s largest waterway and visit their site to explore how you can work with TNC to nurture life in Indy and beyond.
